Aujourd’hui nous nous sommes levés pour aller prendre notre petit déjeuner dans notre hotel magnifique! Un déjeuner avec une vue splendide. Puis nous sommes partis pour aller au parc des dinosaures. Nous avons pris le bus pour nous rendre dans ce parc très bien fait! Il y avait des reproductions de dinosaures de toutes sortes… Des grands, des petits, des carnivores, des herbivores. Nous sommes descendus avec un guide et bien évidemment des casques très stylish pour voir des empreintes de dinosaures… 

Des vrais. C’était un truc de malade. (Tous les petits trous dans la photo en bas de mon article sont des empreintes). C’était un mur immense avec pleins de sortes d’empreintes. C’était assez magique et là vraiment c’était une expérience unique!

Après avoir été à ce parc nous sommes rentrés et nous sommes allés à un marché énorme avec tellement de légumes et fruits et de viandes. Nous avons mangé des plats vraiment typiques là-bas… 

Puis nous sommes allés boire un Smoothie qui était très bon! Après nous nous sommes baladés dans la ville.

After waking up and having a good breakfast, we got ready for our excursion to the cretaceous park. We walked to the central plaza where we borded our bus to the park. Unfortunately there weren’t any seats left on the top floor 😦  (it was a double decker bus). Upon arrival, we entered the park where we saw awesome life-size replicas of dinosaurs. There was a huge Diplodocus which we could walk under. 

After observing these realistic reproductions, we took the tour to go see the real live dinosaur footprints (see photo above). We were surprised to see that they were on a horizontal wall but the guide explained that it used to be flat. However because of a shift in the tectonic plates, the ground was pushed up creating a small mountain. Truthfully, I was expecting there to be one big footstep in a rock which was preserved in a dark room. So, when I saw the trails of real prints, I was surprised that there were so many and virtually intact. Once finished, we took the bus back to Sucre where we were able to ride on top! Once back in Sucre, we walked to the market where we looked around and where we ended up having lunch. It was delicious. After lunch, we went over to one of the juice stands in the market where we each got a refreshing fruit juice. We could choose the mix of fruits and there was so much choice ! 

We then walked to a church where we climbed up to the bellfrey and had an incredible view of the city. Papa freaked out again about our falling even though we were meters away from the edge. 

We finally went back to the hotel where we had a quick rest before climbing up the Mirador Café for dinner. There was a fair up there and we walked through it on the way back to the hotel.
