Sometimes a hot shower can feel really good. That was the case this morning when we got up after a very cold night in our rooms (especially Sam & Sasha who do not benefit from the portable heater that I always have by my side in the form of a very large Frenchman). So, the youth hostel has still not grown on them… Fortunately, today is bright and sunny which definitely gives another perspective on the city of Salta. We went up the funicular to Cerro San Bernardo and there we had a beautiful panoramic view of the city surrounded by the beginning of the Andes mountains.
We then walked down the 1600+ steps back to the city and basked in the sun in the Plaza 9 de Julio. We finished our day by visiting the Cathedral before heading to supper at La Casona del Molino, recommended by Marthe and amazingly good and fun with live music. Gracias Marthe!

I was freezing all night long and was soooo happy to have a warm shower in the morning. During the day we took the funicular to the top of the hill where we had an excellent view of the city!
Then, we walked down the many steps to the bottom. We had delicious coctails before having dinner. The dinner was succulent.
